The Youth Fellowship, C.S.I Thottavaram was formed with the vision to bring youths – young adults to a relationship with Jesus. Our meetings are scheduled on every Sunday from 11.15am to 12.15am. We come together for the time of prayer, praise and to discuss and study the Scriptures under the leadership of our Church Presbyter. Members of our parish of the age group between 15 – 35 are welcome to come and be a part of the fellowship.
The young people of the Church bring in a lot of new energy, creativity and enthusiasm to the life of the Church. The Youth Fellowship of the Church meets every week for prayer, discussion and fellowship. The Church youth take active part in the life of the church.
As part of our Youth Fellowship, we have been blessed by the Lord to work together with other organizations of our Church. The CEYF of the church had a dynamically active 60-65 members for the past 5 years. The Youth members had been working together for the past years for the renovation activities of the church and were able to contribute a big amount for the same by conducting various programmes like Food Fest, Jingle All The Way, Fancy sales, Biriyani Fests, Luck draw etc.
The year plan of the Youth Fellowship covers more than 25 programmes every year and is well-executed. Through the PADHEYAM Programme started by the youth, more than 10 old age/poor homes had been visited & helped till now. In 2019, the youth week had been conducted from 2019 November 17 to 24 with more than 10 programmes.
The CEYF, CSI Thottavaram had been ranked and come up in the 1st position continuously for the past 3 years in the Perumkadavila District Arts Competition. In 2019, the Youth Fellowship had been topped first with 170 points.
